Kate & Saul were married on June 28th at the Botanical Gardens, with their reception held at On Broadway in downtown Asheville. I met Kate early on before the wedding ceremony at the Botanical Gardens, while she waited patiently for Saul to arrive to meet her! I took some beautiful bridal portraits of Kate until he arrived. Then we did the First Look! A first look is a wonderful experience where the bride and groom choose to see each other before the ceremony. It is a beautiful, special and intimate way to see each other for the first time on your wedding day! I love capturing these intimate moments as the bride and groom get to see each other for the first time up close and in private. This is also a good option to save time between the ceremony and reception, so that you can have more time to spend with your guests instead of taking portraits.
